Exploring sustainable options, minimalism, and gardening.
It’s all about experiences, and the healing power of nature. Life is about choosing happiness. My gypsy soul have taken me to many different countries, and definitely taught me to be more humble. I enjoy growing my own food, and spending time outdoors. I now reside in the region where I was born: Dalarna, Sweden. I am a mom, a kindergarten teacher, a minimalist and a gardener. Thank you! I am excited! I’ve learned a lot this gardening season. Next year I am going to do some things differently, like starting the plants inside with grow lights early in the spring.

Woohoo!!!! I am so excited for what is growing for you. I love that they are green right now and hold so much promise! Do you ever harvest & eat them in this form?

Thank you so much! Some are starting to turn red now. I will harvest everything before the first frost. I am sure some will still be green, since new veggies are popping up daily. The green tomatoes, and peppers will be turned into chutney or marmalade. Last year I made green tomato and ginger marmalade that was a big hit. I’ll probably make some this year as well. Some like fried green tomatoes Southern style, I’ll make some, at least once every season 🙂

Even though I lived in Texas for 6 years, I never had fried green tomatoes! Neither have I had green tomato chutney or marmalade. It all sounds so exciting!
