It’s all about experiences, and the healing power of nature. Life is about choosing happiness. My gypsy soul have taken me to many different countries, and definitely taught me to be more humble. I enjoy growing my own food, and spending time outdoors. I now reside in the region where I was born: Dalarna, Sweden. I am a mom, a kindergarten teacher, a minimalist and a gardener. This looks like an old mine, I wonder what kind of rock that is and what the miners were digging for?

It’s Falu Copper mine. It was once one of the world’s most important mining areas. The mine dates back over 1,000 years and at its peak in the 17th century, it accounted for 70% of the western world’s copper production.

My pleasure 🙂 I enjoy visiting the mine every now and then. It’s a really nice walk around the big pit, and there’s Eagle Owls nesting there. The Owls get little ones every year, and I like watching them.

Yes, good or bad. Our town and surrounding villages are built around Falu copper mine. The pond where I get the water to my garden is originally man-made, to serve the mine (it’s slightly above the mine.)
